Bienvenidos, Welcome to Alcaucín. Al Cautin in Arabic means 'Two Arcs'. Alcaucín is situated on the "road of olive oil and the Mountain" in the beautiful countryside of Andalusia, surrounded by olive groves. Alcaucín enjoys stunning views of the Sierra Tejeda (nature reserve) and la Maroma. Alcaucín mountain is 25 minutes from the Mediterranean sea and an hour from Málaga (airport) in the Axarquia region (Arabic for "land to the east").

Our typical Spanish village is named Alcaucín and our B&B is located in the hamlet of "las Escalerillas", which means "small steps". You can also be pampered in our beauty salon "Puro". * We have sufficient private parking spaces (free of charge). * If you come by plane (which is recommended), you land at Málaga airport. There you can rent a car and Casa Utopia is approximately 1 hr away from the airport, where you are greeted with a drink by our "Moorish" pool. * Several low-cost airlines fly to Málaga.
